Meet the Owner and Therapist
Nayrobith “Lisset” Betancourt, LCSW
As a Latina who grew up in a low-income community, I understand firsthand the challenges and systemic barriers many individuals and families face. My own journey of resilience has deeply shaped my commitment to mental health. I bring a compassionate, empathetic, and open approach to the work I do, creating a safe and culturally sensitive space for healing and growth. My practice is rooted in evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). I believe in honoring each person’s lived experience while collaboratively identifying strengths, unpacking emotional patterns, and building tools for meaningful, lasting change.
In addition to therapy, I also offer wellness coaching services for individuals seeking support with emotional growth, stress management, and life transitions outside of a clinical setting. Drawing from the same compassionate and culturally grounded approach described above, my coaching work focuses on helping clients cultivate self-awareness, build resilience, and align with their personal values and goals. Through a blend of mindfulness, reflective practices, and tools inspired by CBT, DBT, Solution-Focused techniques, and Internal Family Systems, I support clients in navigating challenges, enhancing emotional well-being, and creating sustainable change. Wellness coaching is especially beneficial for those who may not need therapy but are looking for structured guidance, accountability, and a safe space to grow.
